BOST was established in 2001 following the restructuring of B & L Engineering Construction, a very successful major ACT civil engineering contractor during the 1990’s. BOST has utilized the extensive construction management experience of Managing Director Boris Stojanoski and developed into a new identity utilizing the skills and enthusiasm of a team of young professionals that have grown up working in the ACT construction industry.
A Head Office in Queanbeyan enables BOST to conveniently service Canberra and surrounding regions which are experiencing dynamic growth and progress. BOST is well placed, with its longstanding reputation of providing engineering excellence, to participate actively in the growth of the region.
BOST remains one of only a few local civil contractors who own and operate their own plant and equipment. The benefit of this ensures the right resources are always on hand as required. John has grown up working for BOST and whilst completing a Civil Engineering Diploma has also completed a wealth of other training in Quality Assurance, Safety and Environmental. John is also a very experienced plant operator and holds an advanced temporary traffic management qualification. With over 10 years of experience John is not only a highly valued Project Manager but also the Managing Director of the company, he is very involved in the business and projects this allows BOST to deliver consistent projects with the best quality assurance possible so our Clients always receive a quality end product.

Experienced over 22 years in ACT & NSW region and over 45 year experience through the career, detail focused driven & proven Civil Engineer with large scale complexed projects. Has worked in effective team working skills to collaboratively achieve project milestones within budget. He has vast skills & experience in solving large technical problem and effectively managed to meet the project specification. Effectively manages the subcontractors and procurement to deliver the project to comply with relevant specifications.
Director / Senior Site Manager
Steven has grown up working in the local construction industry and has worked in his father’s company as well as other respected contractors Canberra Contractors and Woden Constructions. Steven is an experienced operator of numerous construction plant and takes a hands on approach to site management and supervision. With over 16 years of experience Stephen is now a highly valued Manager for BOST who understands the importance of all aspects of construction especially quality, safety and environmental issues. Steven is heavily involved with the overall construction on all job sites ensuring the client receives the best outcomes on the projects.
Aaron Shah is a qualified accountant (FCCA) from United Kingdom and associate member of CPA Australia. He currently serves as company’s Financial Controller.
He has previously worked in a range of industries including government and private sector and brings over 17 years of accounting and management experience. His particular skills in asset management, business reporting and strategic business acumen have played a pivotal role in improving business outcomes for past and present employers.
